Knife skills unit starts this week
Bring nothing. The kitchen has everything, including the plasters. We are doing brunoise and chiffonade this week and a mother sauce next week.

What it is
Culinary Club cooks one thing properly each week rather than five things badly: knife skills in September, braises by November, and a pastry unit in the spring that nobody signs up for and everybody stays for. Members rotate through prep, cook and clean, and the club feeds the faculty meeting once a term.

Is there a cost for ingredients?
No. The club budget covers it. If we do a big spring dinner we sometimes ask for five dollars, and nobody is turned away for not having it.
